Stiffnesses and restraints
- The Shape orthotropy tool, designed for calculating the stiffness matrix of structurally orthotropic plates of various configurations, has been supplemented with a new type — Slab (flat slab, convenient for quickly obtaining a stiffness matrix for further adjustment).
- The functionality for defining plate stiffness has been expanded: detailed assignment of coefficients (modifiers) for membrane stiffness (X, Y, XY), bending stiffness (X, Y, XY), and shear stiffness (XZ, YZ) with automatic recalculation of the stiffness matrix, including for orthotropic forms. Previously, only consolidated coefficients were used.
Stiffness coefficients
-
Added automatic selection of the master node of an perfectly rigid body (PRB) according to specified criteria:
- extreme nodes along axes (Min/Max X, Y, Z);
- closest to the center of the group of selected nodes;
- node of bar adjacency to plates.
- Added an option for releasing deflections at nodes selected on the model.
- In the Design options dialog, the ability to enable or disable punching shear analysis has been added.
