Loads
-
Implemented a new type of load — load from covering weight (fire protection, icing, etc.). It is enough to specify density and thickness: the program automatically calculates the weight based on the cross-section geometry.
When cross-sections change, the load can be updated. The load is applied as uniformly distributed along the length (for bars), over the area (for plates and faces of solid FEs).
-
Implemented a tool for automatic load generation on a group of nodes and elements according to a specified formula dependency.
It can be used, for example, when defining variable wind pressure by height, hydrostatic pressure in tanks, soil pressure on retaining walls, snow load on curved surfaces, as well as when modeling snow mound, etc.
- Added the ability to automatically generate icing load, as well as basement wall loads from soil using LIRA-CAD tools.
- Load generation commands in LIRA-CAD are now grouped.
- Added the ability to apply surface loads on plates and solid FEs in the local coordinate system of the element.
- Added the ability to copy loading simultaneously into several load cases.
- Added the ability to call the file explorer to select a file with the location of an accelerogram. This functionality is implemented in all dynamics modules where the corresponding controls are used.
