VERSION HISTORY
LIRA-FEM
LIRA-FEM 2026 R1 Update 1
LIRA-CAD
-
The StoreyPro2 node (Advanced generation of storeys by height and number) refined:
- the presentation of node properties in existing projects is fixed; mnemonics removed;
- the base level is considered correctly;
- improved options to change the number of storeys, regroup them and delete them.
- The Pile (Piles by points) node has been enhanced. A new check has been added to prevent multiple piles on the same vertical line when storey height is small.
- Fixed the Insert extreme points parameter for the DivideLength (Divide line into segments) node.
- Restored the functionality of the AddLnWall (Additional lines and points of triangulation for wall) node.
- Improved the robustness of links between nodes when the algorithm is written to and read from the LIRA CAD library. Fixed an issue where some links could disappear.
- Restored the Maximum value parameter for the LineProximity (Distance between lines) node.
- Fixed an issue where walls would disappear after using the SliceByLevels (Split objects by storey levels) node.
- The Param input has been added to the LoadPt (Concentrated load) node.
- An error has been fixed where, when moving a building, the node remained in its original position instead of moving with the building.
- When updating nodes in the mode for presentation of active storey, the visibility of the corresponding objects is now ensured.
- A script error that occurred when opening a node in the graphical editor has been resolved.
- Fixed an error in updating the division math node in logic when copying a block. Previously, when the input value was changed, the result was not recalculated and remained as in the source block.
- The import of circular-section piles from an IFC file has been improved. Previously, circular sections were imported as square ones.
- Fixed an IFC import error. After conversion, beams and columns retain their correct geometric positioning relative to the source model.
- The number of elements in the IFC import table has been corrected, including for unrecognised Undefined types. Previously, the number specified in the row did not match the actual number of elements in the GUID list.
- Fixed an error where a slab imported from IFC was shifted from its original position.
- IFC import for walls with non-rectangular openings has been corrected. Previously, such openings were not recognised, and walls were imported with distorted geometry.
- Fixed a saved template for the cross-section correspondence during IFC import. Certain profiles, including angles, plates and I-sections, previously remained unassigned.
- Fixed an error in the Convert objects command where some Other elements imported from IFC were not converted to beams.
- Geometric distortions and the generation of extra elements when exporting the model to IFC format have been resolved.
- During IFC export, the alignment of the physical model of beams has been restored. Geometry is exported with the specified offset rather than centred along the construction line.
- Fixed an error relating to the orientation of beam cross-sections when exporting to IFC. Previously, some elements were exported with an incorrect rotation.
- Corrected export of steel columns to IFC. Elements are now exported as columns rather than with the Other type.
- Enhanced generation of the wall-beam bar analogue for walls with specified support conditions at the top and bottom. Previously, these conditions could prevent the generation of a triangulation that satisfied the bar analogue.
- Rounding of cross-section dimensions for the bar analogue has been added.
- Restored option to generate offsets in beams via the Attach to slab command.
- Improved trimming of a wall under a slab in cases where the wall already has a restriction against intersecting with another slab.
- Fixed an error that caused incorrect interpretation of a partition when copied from one project to another.
- Fixed an issue where the specified load value from rooms was reset to the default value of 0.5 ts/m² when opening this load for editing from LIRA-FEM in LIRA-CAD.
- Fixed an error in linking a load block to a slab for blocks copied from another project. Previously, such blocks could not be linked to the slab.
- Fixed bug: files from version 2025 were opened as blank in version 2026.
- The assembly of columns with capitals has been refined. The dead weight of the capital is now taken into account at the same assemblage stage as the slab located above it.
- The Cut/Extend command has been corrected.
- Annotations for analytical and post-analytical model views have been added to the object visibility filter. The option to manage axes, labels and other annotations in post- analysis has been implemented.
- The openings may be generated in plates by shafts.
- In the dialog box for specifying effective lengths of walls, the option to take into account the middle third of the wall height for determining longitudinal bending has been implemented. A user interface and parameter storage within the data structure have been added.
- The algorithms for intersecting 3D objects with planes have been refined.
- Fixed bug: an opening created with the Opening in a pile group command was not displayed until you exit the generation mode.
- Fixed bug: in the Compare buildings dialog box, in the commands to filter by type of change and sort the list by type.
- Fixed bug: program failure when using the Copy properties command for elements.
- In the Check model dialog box, the message regarding discrepancy between blocks with the same name now includes the number of elements for each block.
- Fixed bug: the load from the infill of an opening in a partition is transferred to LIRA-FEM correctly. Previously, the load was not generated and was lost during transfer procedure, whilst the load intensity from the partition was calculated incorrectly.
- Option to change the column snap has been simplified. When a different slab is specified, the previous snap is automatically removed.
- The Ignore for calculation option has been modified. The option set for a building now applies to all checks, not just the generation of the design model. Buildings-underlays are no longer included in the check results.
- Fixed bug: a single axis, when selected by clicking, was identified as an element of axis grid and displayed the corresponding parameters.
- The presentation of analytical plane links has been improved. All linked elements are now shown, rather than just those lying in the plane.
- Fixed bug: the displacement of elements during the batch conversion of Other objects to beams. Previously, some elements were displaced due to a loss of cross-section.
- When converting a column into a pile, the element’s original position is retained. Previously, the pile would shift upwards.
LIRA-FEM
- Fixed bug: program failure when fill or organic soil was present and there were no piles in the design model.
- Fixed bug: program failure when selecting the min/max/abs result envelopes according to the DCL.
- Fixed bug: in the conversion of distributed loads for time-history analysis problems when the direction of the Z1-axis of plates is changed.
- The plotting of a time-varying heat flow graph has been corrected.
- Fixed bug: in the generation of information lines for specified nodal loads.
- Fixed bug: program failure during the local analysis of steel structures. Refined the selection of variable cross-sections for the EN 1993-1-1:2005/AC:2009 building code.
- Fixed bug: program failure when creating a joint in the model from rectangular tubes.
- The selection of numerically defined composite I-section by EN 1993-1- 1:2005/AC:2009 has been corrected.
- Modified the stability analysis based on the resultant force for circular pipes with equal effective lengths. The load factor has also been refined.
- Fixed bug: discrepancy in the Total loads table where the contents differed between the Advanced edit options and Results modes.
- Fixed bug: for assemblage stages, the summation results in the Summarize loads dialog box differed depending on the mode in which the calculation was started: from the data editing mode or from the Results mode.
- Fixed bug: the Add dead weight command for elements assembled at all assemblage stages.
- Fixed bug: the Add dead weight command. The dead weight was not added for cross-sections created in the Cross-Section Design Toolkit module.

- The current units of measurement are now supported when creating loads by a formula.
- Fixed bug: when copying a distributed load on plates to another file.

- Fixed bug: incorrect coefficient for the unit weight of a steel section in case you opened files created in previous versions of the program.
