The ultimate fire resistance of reinforced concrete and composite (steel & RC) structures can be computed in the LIRA-FEM program. This analysis is carried out for plate elements, standard section types, and composite (steel & RC) section types.
The LIRA-FEM software implements fire resistance analysis of steel structures according to EN 1993-1-2:2005. The critical temperature is computed, and the dynamics of the reduction in bearing capacity of the element depending on the increase in temperature (full report) is available in the local analysis mode which provides a detailed and unfolded report of steel member analysis and design.
