The peculiarities of steel lattice towers analysis on wind load (in russian)
The article shows some aspects of determining wind loads on steel lattice tower structures
In the LIRA-FEM program for the calculation of FEM structures, it is possible to sequentially calculate towers and masts (for example, mobile communication towers, power line towers and observation towers).
LIRA-FEM has a wide range of functionality for solving a great number of problems, as well as modeling and analysis of tower and mast. The analysis is produced in the plane (2nd Model type) as well as in the space (4th, 5th Model types).
In the LIRA-FEM program the static and dynamic analysis of the tower and mast in linear and nonlinear formulations is realized.
For the linear analysis of the tower and mast, the next types of bar finite elements (FE) are used: 1, 2, 4, 10.
For the physically non-linear analysis of the tower and mast, the next types of bar finite elements (FE) are used: 201, 202, 204, 210.
For the genetically non-linear analysis of the tower and mast, the next types of bar finite elements (FE) are used: 308, 309, 310.
To perform the physical and geometrical (P-delta) nonlinear analysis of the tower and mast, the bar finite element FE 410 is used.
While adding the bars in the LIRA-FEM software, the FE 10 type is assigned to them by default. The process of finite element change is described in the article.
The projected construction of the exhaust tower is used for technical equipment reliance in particular the high-rise exhaust pipe.
The object for verification analysis is the supporting metal structures of the drilling rig. Among others, the task was to perform the analysis of bearing structures of the drilling rig in LIRA-FEM software and determine the deformations and forces in the elements, etc.
