Composite (RC and steel) structures design in LIRA-FEM is performed according to the following procedure:

  • Create stiffness type - Composite and steel section;
  • Design parameters such as normative document (RC design), according to which to perform the analysis; which forces to take for analysis (analysis: DCF or DCL);
  • The concrete, reinforcement and stiff reinforcement material parameters, the design characteristics of the element are specified;
  • Selection of reinforcements.
