Thermal analysis
In the LIRA-FEM software, thermal analysis is carried out by the finite element method (similar to the strength analysis). For thermal analysis, LIRA-FEM implements one-dimensional, plane, and spatial FE of thermal conductivity. The contact between the surface and the medium is modelled using specific finite elements of convective heat transfer.
In LIRA-FEM software, the Thermal Analysis system enables the user to compute the thermal field for problems with steady heat transfer analysis (heat conduction) and problem with transient heat transfer analysis with all types of boundary conditions for the structures with arbitrary geometry. It is also possible to convert computed thermal fields into the thermal load in order to determine the stress-strain state of the structure.

Time History Analysis
Modelling the process of dynamic loading on the basis of accelerograms with determination of forces and displacements in certain time intervals; the damping structures and material damping are considered.
