Update 1 for LIRA-FEM 2026 R1
LIRA-FEM 2026 R1 Update 1 focuses on improving application stability, modeling accuracy, and the quality of BIM interoperability. IFC import and export have been significantly enhanced, model creation and editing tools have been improved, and capabilities for working with storeys, piles, walls, beams, slabs, loads, and the analytical model representation have been expanded. The reliability of analytical model generation, construction stage processing, and interaction between model elements has also been improved.
In LIRA-FEM, a number of critical issues and application crashes have been resolved. Algorithms for time history analysis, self-weight of structures and soils, load summation, seismic load cases, and engineering nonlinearity have been improved. Local verification of steel structures in accordance with Eurocode 3 has been enhanced. Additional capabilities for processing accelerograms and transferring reinforcement design results to LIRA-CAD have also been implemented, providing more accurate and consistent calculation results.
Special attention has been given to version compatibility, optimization of complex model processing, and the correction of issues reported by users. Overall, the update package includes dozens of improvements aimed at increasing the performance, reliability, and ease of everyday work with LIRA-CAD and LIRA-FEM.
