Update 2 for LIRA-FEM 2025 R2

The update delivers enhanced stability, improved data transfer between LIRA-CAD and LIRA-FEM, and refined algorithms for triangulation, load generation and collection, as well as handling of openings and complex geometry. The calculation core has been improved with more accurate thick plate behaviour, optimized processing of large time history analyses, and refined checks in accordance with DBN and EN standards, resulting in more reliable results and higher calculation accuracy.

January 29, 2026

Geometry handling and element transformation capabilities have been extended, improving the reliability of design model generation and parameter transfer to the calculation core. Wind and space load generation has been enhanced, stability when working with special elements, pedestals and column capitals has been improved, and overall robustness has been increased for large and complex models with numerous objects and links.

Within the calculation core, the behaviour of thick plates has been improved, numerical effects affecting accuracy have been eliminated, and processing of large time history analysis tasks has been optimized. Design checks in accordance with DBN and EN standards have been refined, providing more reliable engineering assessment and consistent results for advanced structural analyses.

Ukrainian steel section tables for 2025 have been updated and expanded. Dynamic analysis performance has been optimized, response spectrum generation has been refined, and interaction with the ReSpectrum module has been improved. Overall system stability, data integrity controls, and performance have been significantly enhanced.
