Eleventh International Scientific and Technical Conference "Resource-Efficient Materials, Structures, Buildings, and Facilities"
On October 24-25, 2024, at the National University of Water and Environmental Engineering (NUWEE) in Rivne, Liraland Group participated in the Eleventh International Scientific and Technical Conference "Resource-Efficient Materials, Structures, Buildings, and Facilities," dedicated to the 90th anniversary of the Department of Industrial and Civil Construction and Engineering Structures and the 60th anniversary of the Institute of Construction and Architecture.

Yevhen Dmytrenko, an Associate Professor in the Department of Construction and a researcher at Liraland Group delivered a welcome address on behalf of the Construction Department, represented by the Head of the Department, Professor Ihor Yakovenko, as well as the entire Faculty of Design and Construction, led by Dean Zinoviy Ruzhylo of National University of Life and Environmental Sciences of Ukraine.
Representing Liraland Group a leading developer of domestic software for structural engineering calculations of building structures across industrial, agricultural, civil, and public buildings and engineering facilities, Yevhen Dmytrenko ceremonially awarded educational licenses for "LIRA-FEM" (LIRA-SAPR) software. The department has successfully used these software products in its academic and research processes for many years, following a cooperation memorandum between National University of Life and Environmental Sciences of Ukraine and Liraland Group.
Yevhen Dmytrenko also formally presented a collaboration agreement between the Department of Construction at the National University of Life and Environmental Sciences of Ukraine and the Departments of Urban Construction and Infrastructure, and Industrial and Civil Construction and Engineering Structures. He expressed hope for continued fruitful cooperation. According to this agreement, the parties committed to the following areas of cooperation: 1) exchange of information on activity plans, projects, and programs in the field of higher education training in relevant specialties and educational programs (EPs); 2) joint scientific events such as round tables, seminars, conferences, forums, and symposia in fields of mutual interest related to higher education specialties and EPs; 3) discussion on matters of licensing and accreditation of relevant specialties and EPs; 4) preparation of joint research projects, academic publications, and more.
Yevhen Dmytrenkoconcluded his presentation with a report on the key areas of cooperation between higher education institutions and Liraland Group. He highlighted recent positive changes in the process of providing licensed software for educational and research purposes, opportunities for professional development for faculty and students through courses offered by Liraland Group and support for educational institutions with technical documentation and instructional materials for effective use of "LIRA-FEM" (LIRA-SAPR) software in academic and research activities.
