This tutorial contains a set of examples that make the user familiar with main features of LIRA version 9.2. All examples have step-by-step instructions explaining every aspect of the procedure. They include model generation, evaluation of analysis results, design of reinforced concrete (RC) and steel structures. Every example contains necessary comments that explain some peculiar features of input data and accepted analysis algorithms.

The book will be useful for students of building and machine-building departments of universities, civil and structural engineers, postgraduate students, lecturers and scientists.

The reader is considered to know the basic concepts of building mechanics and has some experience in Windows.
