Modelling of groin vaults. What is the easiest way to match two semicylinders

There is a task to model groin vaults:What is the best way to do it?1). Is there any possibility to «intersect» two semicylinders with the formation of mutual nodes?2). Is it possible to import scheme from other CAD software (entity “region” or 3d polyline)?3). Can Sapfir help here?

Modelling of groin vaults. What is the easiest way to match two semicylinders

There is a task to model groin vaults:

What is the best way to do it?

1). Is there any possibility to «intersect» two semicylinders with the formation of mutual nodes?
2). Is it possible to import scheme from other CAD software (entity “region” or 3d polyline)?
3). Can Sapfir help here?

The simplest way is to move generatrix of both semicylinders. Surely, it is possible to perform it in Sapfir if it is possible in Lira. In addition, it is necessary to intersect blocks in Lira. Excess blocks must be deleted. Finally, it is necessary to modify grid of nodes.

Concerning import capabilities, all the nuances of the system described in the reference, as well as possible formats. The section is called "Import problem" with particular reference to the possible options. As it was mentioned by ander, Sapfir has shaping tools with which you can get almost any geometry. The only nuance is the quality of grid on intersection. You may work and fix problem areas on the results of triangulation. Another option is to use other meshes and generators to import through the format * .msh
The choice is yours.

Thank you!!
The command ”intersect blocks” does what I need.
